Medvision Benelux was launched in 1996 under the direction of Mr. Wilfried Pieters, its founder and CEO. Mr.Pieters started his career in the medical field in 1980 and has held different management positions in leading companies such as American Hospital Supplies, Aloka, Toshiba and Sonotron ( GE Vingmed ). The basic idea to start-up Medvision Benelux came after several demands from Belgian surgeons who have used the OEC C-arms abroad and who expressed their desire for this high quality products in Belgium. At that moment, the OEC products had a market share of 80% in the United States but had not been introduced in the Benelux market yet. Medvision Benelux pioneered the Benelux market with this outstanding product and focuses on providing excellent customized support and service in the pre-sales and after-sales phases. |
