AAEON was established in 1992. AAEON developed and focused Single Board Computers. In 1994, AAEON set up Research & Development Department. The production lines were completely converted to Compact Boards, Half-Size CPU cards and Full-Size CPU cards. At the same year, AAEON obtained ISO-9001 and aimed to be an OEM/ODM manufacturer specialist. In 2000, AAEON acquired Astech Inc., a leading Panel PC manufacturer. With this merger, AAEON extended its product offering to Industrial Workstations, Panel PCs, Display Monitors and LCD PCs.
